This is not a goodbye, it's an until we meet again. It's an exercise in gratitude to all the people I've worked with over these years.

When you're given the chance to create, to laugh, to challenge, to make mistakes, to play, to learn and to enjoy doing everything you're passionate about, all that's left is a debt of gratitude. It's a gift to be able to bring together so much creating and to be able to do it in your work: My gratitude.

These years have been an advanced course in learning. A "master" of possibilities. Surrounded by people I admire and all the talent concentrated in this team. It's been living a dream while awake. Each of the memories I'm taking with me is part of an experience I would live again, every time. And I'm not going to live it anymore, and that detachment also has to be learned. The detachment hasn't been easy either. And it had to be lived to be internalized: My gratitude.

There's a lot of energy concentrated in a team of people focused on delivering the best they know how, for the benefit of a group. It's like working for a better future for each and every one of those inside and also those outside. So much energy together always generates results. And I am the result of part of that energy: My gratitude.

Now, I choose to live new dreams, and it will be outside this team. And a large part of what I still have left to create, to laugh, to challenge, to make mistakes, to play, to learn and to enjoy, I'll do in the company of all those who choose to share their talent with me. And that energy I'm taking with me is reason to be grateful.

I'm leaving BBVA: My gratitude.
